How do I log food?
Tap the search button on the Dashboard or go to the Food Log tab. You can search the USDA database, scan a barcode, or use the AI assistant to describe your meal in plain English.
How does the AI assistant work?
The AI assistant uses OpenAI to parse natural language food descriptions and estimate nutrition. You need to configure an OpenAI API key in Settings to use it. See our AI Disclosure for details on accuracy and limitations.
Is my data private?
Yes. All data is stored locally on your device. If you sign in with Apple, data syncs via your private iCloud account. No analytics or tracking SDKs are used. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I sync across devices?
Sign in with Apple in Settings. Your food logs, custom foods, recipes, and profile will sync across all your devices via iCloud.
How do I change my calorie or macro goals?
Go to Settings and tap on your nutrition goals. You can customize targets for calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, and water.
How do I connect Apple Health?
Go to Settings > HealthKit. Toggle on the health data types you want to display on your Dashboard. Taybo only reads data from HealthKit — it never writes to it.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from your device and iCloud. See our account deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions to manage or cancel. See Apple Support for help with refunds.
